Pacific Legal Foundation Increases Website Visits 66 Percent with Blackbaud® NetCommunity™ Hosted by Blackbaud OnDemand

Pacific Legal Foundation is the oldest and most successful public interest legal organization that fights for limited government, property rights, individual rights, and a balanced approach to environmental protection. Pacific Legal Foundation is devoted to a vision of individual freedom, responsible government, and colour-blind justice. PLF's litigation focuses on three major projects: to defend the fundamental human right of private property, to promote sensible environmental policies that respect individual freedom and put people first, and to create a nation in which people are judged by the content of their character.


  • Pacific Legal Foundation wanted a website that would reinforce and strengthen their efforts of achieving their mission. In order to accomplish that, the Foundation wanted to ensure their website was user-friendly and engaging.

  • Since implementing their Blackbaud solutions, the Foundation has had more than 40,000 website hits — a 66 percent increase from the previous year.
  • Subscriptions to the organization’s enewsletter, The Century, have increased 125 percent.
  • Subscriptions to the organization’s Coastal Guardian electronic newsletter have doubled.
  • Since implementing Blackbaud NetCommunity, online contributions to the Foundation have increased 31 percent and the total amount given has increased 27 percent.
