The Salvation Army has been supporting those in need in Christ's name without discrimination for 128 years in the United States. Nearly 29 million Americans received assistance from The Salvation Army during 2007 through a broad array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless, and opportunities for underprivileged children. Challenge

  • The Salvation Army Southern Territory found its development efforts were restricted by disparate and cumbersome databases. For example, executive-level views were augmented manually to add missing information and financial and fundraising reporting required manual processes and consumed valuable staff time.
