How does it work?

The process is simple. Fill out the referral form and if we are not already working with the organization you submit as a referral, a Blackbaud representative will follow up with them to determine whether our software or services fit their needs. If the referred organization becomes a customer within one year of the date you submit your referral, you will be rewarded!

Who is eligible to participate?

Current Blackbaud clients participating in our Software Maintenance Program.

How do I get the reward?

  1. If you know of a nonprofit organization or independent school that would benefit from Blackbaud software or solutions, share this information with us by completing the online form.
  2. After you submit the online form, a Blackbaud representative will follow up with the organization to determine whether Blackbaud software is the right solution to fit their needs. If the organization you referred to us purchases Blackbaud software within 12 months from the date you submit your online form, your organization will receive ONE pick from our reward catalogue (see fine print for a list of reward options).

How will I know the outcome of my referral?

We will communicate with you via email every step of the way.

Is there a limit on how many referrals I can submit?

Nope! There is no limit on how much you can be rewarded.

The Fine Print

Rules for the Blackbaud Referral Program

  • All Clients who are currently enrolled in Blackbaud’s maintenance services may participate in the referral program
  • Clients may submit multiple referrals however the referrals must be new introductions
  • Submitted referrals are reviewed for eligibility
  • An accepted referral must purchase a Blackbaud product or service within one year of when the referral was approved
  • Client will then be awarded ONE choice of the reward catalogue within 6 months of the date the accepted referral purchases a Blackbaud product or service
  • In the event that Client cannot legally accept the reward it will be forfeited

Rewards Catalogue

  • 10 hours of web based training
  • 10% discount on any new product or services, both for the referring client and the prospect*
  • 3 month trial of advantage priority customer support**
  • Reduced annual maintenance up to $1,000
  • One complimentary entry to BBCON***
